A nun beauty contest called Miss Sister 2008 5

An Italian priest and a school teacher got an idea and are currently organizing this Miss Sister 2008 contest to give nuns more visibility within the Catholic Church and to fight the stereotype that they are old and dour. See the pictures after the jump.
September 2008, next month through the initiative of Rev. Antonion Rungi will give nuns an opportunity to enhance their image and the world will have a chance to vote for the nun that they consider being a good model for the search.

Hmmm??? You’ve got your point, but I think this one is nice but we can’t deny the fact that they are some other believers don’t see it as Rev. Antonion Rungi does…No one have ever try it before, so maybe we’ll just give it a shot this time… ;)

Interesting post but the idea of this “search thing” is ridiculous. This initiative will just drive crazy ideas again from other non Catholic believers. Tsk..tsk..tsk.. There are a lot of issues we need to advocate on to and should have reserved the reverend’s idea to something a lot better and more sensible. What do you think?
