Legendary NFL star and sports broadcaster Pat Summerall was hospitalized this week for emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding. His condition started after a new medicine didn’t mix well with other medications, He is expected to make a full recovery.

Summerall, 78, had a liver transplant in 2004 and a hip replacement procedure in January.
